About UNDOOMED
UNDOOMED is designed to combat the time-consuming habit of doomscrolling by hiding distracting content like Reels, Shorts, and TikTok feeds, while preserving access to essential features such as messages and posts. The app offers customizable settings for each application, allowing users to quickly toggle between configurations and access light "clarity" statistics to track usage. Currently available for iOS, with an Android version expected by October 2025, UNDOOMED employs a unique "pyramid of attention" concept inspired by Botticelli’s Map of Hell, emphasizing focus and intention.
The app includes powerful filters to block short clips, autoplay, and discovery tabs, directing users to calmer areas like direct messages and subscriptions. Users can set time limits for app usage, either per hour or per day, and choose actions when limits are reached. A clear statistical view is provided, featuring a Clarity Score that trends upwards as users avoid endless feeds. An optional Parental Lock secures filter settings with a PIN, ensuring privacy and security by keeping all data on-device without requiring an account, cloud storage, or tracking.
UNDOOMED is thoughtfully designed with light and dark modes, customizable accent colors, accessible typography, and smooth animations. It supports major social platforms and allows users to pin frequently used sites while hiding others. A one-tap break feature offers gentle interruptions to help users refocus. User reviews highlight the app’s subtle yet effective approach to reducing screen time, emphasizing its clean, fast, and privacy-first design.
