Ubicloud (YC W24)

The platform integrates seamlessly with Kamal, an open source project from 37signals / HEY, designed for deploying web apps in production environments using Docker. Kamal supports zero-downtime deploys, rolling restarts, and easy log access. Ubicloud enhances Kamal's capabilities by providing essential cloud primitives such as DNS-integrated elastic load balancers, managed PostgreSQL with high availability and backup/restore features, and built-in certificate management for HTTPS.

Ubicloud’s basic plan includes DNS, load balancer, firewall, and certificates at no additional cost, while VMs and managed PostgreSQL are offered at a third of the price of AWS. The platform ensures security with fully isolated VMs and encryption both in transit and at rest, and it offers an option to keep data within the EU to comply with GDPR regulations.
