Lovable Agent Mode

Lovable's Agent Mode (Beta) introduces an advanced AI feature that enables autonomous thinking, planning, and execution. Designed to function more like a real developer, Agent Mode can independently explore codebases, debug issues, and implement changes without user intervention. It reduces build error rates by 90%, minimizes unwanted modifications, and enhances the overall development process.

This mode allows the AI to search codebases, read files for context, inspect logs and network activity, fetch external resources in real-time, and even generate or edit images on demand. Unlike the default version, which completes tasks in a single step, Agent Mode takes a multi-step approach: interpreting requests, gathering context, making precise changes, auto-fixing issues, and summarizing results.

Agent Mode uses a usage-based pricing model, where the cost depends on the complexity of the request. Simple tasks may cost less than one credit, while more intricate operations may require multiple credits. Currently in beta, the rollout of Agent Mode is gradual, and users can enable it through their project settings once access is granted.
