The setup process involves three API calls: creating a customer, starting a session, and querying data. Each user is treated as a distinct customer with their own isolated data space, ideal for SaaS applications requiring private RAG engines. Users upload their documents via a secure, hosted interface, and the system processes, chunks, and converts these documents into high-dimensional vectors. This ensures complete data separation and efficient retrieval.
LiquidIndex 2.0 handles all the backend infrastructure, enabling developers to focus on building user-centric features. The simple API integration allows for natural language querying of documents, with the system automatically routing queries to the correct data spaces.
The product offers a straightforward pricing model with different plans to suit various needs, including options for file upload limits, processing priorities, support levels, and vector database configurations. Pricing
Basic plan is pay-as-you-go with a 10MB file upload limit, standard processing queue, community support, and standard vector database. The Pro plan costs $25/month, includes a 100MB file upload limit, priority processing, direct developer support, configurable vector database, and extended embedding model selection. Usage-based pricing includes $30 per million read operations, $15 per million write operations, $1 per million embedding operations (model dependent), and $0.50 per GB per month for storage. Embedding models vary in price and availability, with some models available only in the Pro plan.
