Droppable - Messenger for large files

Droppable is a macOS-native application designed for seamless and efficient file transfers, catering specifically to creatives who frequently share large files. The app allows users to send collections of raw photos, videos, or other file types up to 2TB directly from their Mac desktops without compromising quality. With a focus on simplicity and user experience, Droppable eliminates the inefficiencies of traditional file-sharing methods, offering a clean and unobstructive interface that integrates seamlessly into macOS.

Users can send files to single recipients or groups by selecting contacts from their Apple or Google Contacts or manually entering email addresses. Additional features include the ability to add notes for context and set expiry dates for transfers, ranging from 1 day to 3 months. Droppable also provides a messenger-style interface for tracking transfer history, ensuring users have a clear overview of active and completed transfers.

Storage is managed via Google One, allowing users to store files on their own trusted drives and scale their storage plans up to 30TB as needed. Files are automatically zipped for hassle-free downloading, ensuring compatibility with large file collections. The app supports all file formats but does not currently allow folder transfers.

Droppable offers a free trial with up to five transfers and a one-time payment of $9.99 to unlock unlimited transfers and lifetime access, including future updates. Designed exclusively for macOS Ventura (13) and higher, Droppable is lightweight and optimized for the macOS experience. While features like password protection and read receipts are not yet available, they are planned for future releases.
